NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Authorities have identified the man who drowned in a lake near the 2600 block of Midland Park Rd Sunday.

According to ABC News 4, first responders were dispatched to the scene around 5:30 p.m. They found two men laying on top of a capsized boat. They threw a rope to the men and pulled them ashore.

The two men told officers that they had been drinking when the boat capsized. A third person, Jesus Reyes Reyes, 39, was onbard the boat when it capsized. He could not swim and drowned.

Reyes’s body was found by a dive team.

The incident is under investigation by the police.
