NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A pedestrian died from their injuries after being struck by a car on Ashley Phosphate Road on Saturday night, WCIV reports.

Officials said the accident occurred near 2810 Ashley Phosphate Road around 10:40pm on Saturday, January 22.

The person who was hit was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. He was identified as Carlos Dunlap, Sr.

This accident is under investigation by officials.
