HORRY COUNTY, SC – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car on Monday morning in north Longs, WPDE reports.

The incident happened on West Highway 9 near Harvest Moon Drive at 6:49am on December 6th.

One person was seriously injured and was transported to an area hospital.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
