LEXINGTON, SC – According to WIS, a suspect was injured when he crashed following a police pursuit on Roberts Blvd Saturday.

Officers attempted to pull over a 17-year-old driver for a headlight being out and an expired license plate. The suspect did not pull over and led police on a chase.

The suspect’s vehicle rolled over. The suspect then exited the vehicle through the window before running into the woods.

Authorities eventually located the suspect with the aid of a drone. They arrested him and transported him to an area hospital with injuries from the collision.

Police charged the teen with possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop for blue lights, leaving the scene of a collision, reckless driver, having a defective headlight, and driving without a license.
