CHARLESTON, SC – Two people died in a three-vehicle collision on Hwy 30 Tuesday, according to Count on 2.
The driver of a box truck rear-ended a motorcycle occupied by two people. The collision knocked the motorcyclist and their passenger off the motorcycle and caused both vehicles to collide with a Tesla.
First responders pronounced the motorcyclist and their passenger dead at the scene of the accident. They transported the two occupants of the Tesla and the box truck driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Charleston Police Department.
