BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – According to WCSC, a person died in a two-vehicle collision on SC 41 near Reflectance Dr on Jan 26.
A driver heading south collided head-on with a northbound vehicle around 6:44 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced one of the drivers, Skyland Westbury, 29, dead at the scene of the accident. They transported the other driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities do not believe impairment played a role in the crash.
The incident is under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Team of the Charleston Police Department.
