FLORENCE COUNTY, SC – A police chase ended in a fatal collision at McAlister Mill Rd and Salem Rd Friday, according to WBTW.
A Honda Civic driver was fleeing from officers on southbound McAllister Mill Rd when he collided with a Ford F250 pickup truck at the intersection with Salem Rd around 4 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene of the accident. A family member transported the Ford driver to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
