PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC – One person died, and two people were hurt in a traffic accident on US 17 near Old Plantation Dr Friday, according to WCSC.
A GMC pickup truck driver was heading south on US 17 when they collided with a Chevy Impwas crossing the road.
Emergency crews pronounced the Imapala driver dead at the scene of the accident. They also transported a passenger from the Impala and the pickup truck’s driver to an area hospital.
Officials have not released the name of the victim who died.
