GEORGETOWN CO., SC – A woman from Longs was killed when a semi-truck slammed into the rear of her vehicle on US-701 last Friday.
According to a report by WBTW, the incident took place shortly before noon near the intersection with Eaddy Street.
Troopers say the victim, Faye Sundby, was stopped for traffic when a 2013 semi-truck rear-ended her vehicle. Sundby was rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
