LEE COUNTY, SC – According to WIS TV, a person died following a collision between a semi-truck and a sedan at Rembert Church Rd and Apple Hill Ln Monday.

A semi-truck driver was heading south on Rembert Church Rd when he crossed into the northbound lanes of traffic and struck a Chevrolet sedan around 3:10 p.m.

Rescue crews transported both drivers to area hospitals, where the sedan driver died.

The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
