WEST COLUMBIA, SC – An elementary school student was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in West Columbia on Wednesday.
According to a report by WISTV, the child was hit just after the recess period at Congaree Elementary on Ramblin Road., near US-302.
The unidentified student was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unclear if the driver involved will face any charges at this time.
