HORRY COUNTY, SC – According to WPDE, one person died and two were hurt in a single-vehicle collision near State Hwy 57 N and Frank Gore Rd on Sunday.
India Chestnut, 19, was driving a 2005 Nissan sedan on State Hwy 57 when she strayed off the road and crashed into a tree around 6:45 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Chestnut dead at the scene and transported two passengers to an area hospital. A third passenger was unhurt in the incident.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
