SCRANTON, SC – According to WMBF, a person died in a single-vehicle collision near US 52 and W O Shay Rd Saturday.
A person was driving a 2017 Kia sedan on southbound US 52 when they strayed off the right side of the road and hit an embankment around 2 a.m.
Emergency responders transported the driver to an area hospital, where they died.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
