DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC – According to WACH, a driver died in a two-vehicle collision on Secondary 49 near Rogers Rd Saturday.

The driver of a Mercedes Benz 350 was heading south on Secondary 49 when they strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with the driver of a northbound Nissan Centrum around 6:20 a.m

Rescue crews transported the Nissan driver to an area hospital, where they died.

The Mercedes driver was not hurt in the collision.
