SOUTH CONGAREE, SC – A two-car collision killed one person and injured another at Creekside Rd and Old Dunbar Rd Tuesday.
According to The Lexington Ledger, the driver of a Ford Fusion was on westbound Old Dunbar Rd when it struck the driver’s side door of a Honda that was turning left onto Old Dunbar Rd from Creekside Rd at around 8:15 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported the Fusion driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the motor vehicle accident.
