CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC – According to WIS, troopers are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened on I-85 Thursday.
Leigh Ann Hamilton, 56, was driving on I-85 when she collided with a concrete wall around 4:30 p.m. The collision bounced Hamilton’s car into the path of a semi-truck. The crash trapped Hamilton and her passenger inside their vehicle.
Emergency crews extricated Hamilton and her passenger from their car. First responders pronounced Hamilton dead at the scene and transported the passenger to an area hospital.
