GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC – A young girl was killed in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver on Monday night, WSPA reports.
This is an update to our early story about injuries reported in an accident on White Horse Road.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, the intoxicated driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Aydin Adil Oglu-Mammadov, 35, of Greenville.
The child, a 7-year-old girl, was taken to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
