CAYCE, SC – Lexington County officials have released the victim’s name who died in an accident at Old Dunbar Rd and Burroughs Ave Sunday.
According to WIS TV, the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu was heading east on Old Dunbar Rd when they rear-ended a semi-truck at around 7 a.m.
Debra Lee Kittrell, 67, was a passenger in the Malibu. She was not wearing a seatbelt and died in the collision. First responders transported the Malibu driver to an area hospital in critical condition.
Neither the driver nor the passenger in the semi-truck was injured in the crash.
