SCRANTON, SC – According to WPDE, officials have released the name of the driver who died in a collision on the 2700 block of Hwy 52 Tuesday.
Emanuel Sentel Burgess, 41, was driving a pickup truck south on Hwy 52 when he strayed into the northbound lanes and collided with a semi-truck.
Rescue crews pronounced Burgess dead at the scene of the accident and transported the semi-truck driver to an area hospital.
