HARTSVILLE, SC – Troopers have identified the woman killed in a Wednesday morning rollover crash in Darlington County, WTBT reports.
The accident took place at about 7:50 a.m. as 43-year-old Letitia Franklin lost control of her 2006 Volvo on Indian Branch Road, near Tema Road. The vehicle then skidded off the left side of the roadway and rolled several times, ejecting both occupants.
Franklin suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Her unidentified passenger was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Police say neither of the victims was wearing a seatbelt when the crash occurred.
