LEE COUNTY, SC – A wrong-way collision killed one person at Sumter Hwy and Golf Cart Rd Saturday, according to WLTX.
A Dodge Ram driver was on southbound Sumter Hwy when they strayed into oncoming traffic and collided with a GMC Yukon head-on around midnight.
Rescue crews pronounced the GMC driver dead at the scene of the accident and airlifted the Dodge driver to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation.
