WALTERBORO, SC – A driver was hurt in a single-vehicle collision on Bedon Rd Saturday, according to WCBD.
A male was driving a Hyundai Sonata north on Bedon Rd when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a ditch around 6:40 p.m.
The collision sent the into a culvert which launched the vehicle into a pine tree. The car bounced off the pine tree and landed in the roadway before rolling over multiple times and ending up in another ditch.
Emergency responders extricated the driver and transported him to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
