BLUFFTON, SC – According to WCSC, an alleged drunk driver crashed head-on with a patrol vehicle on SC 70 Saturday.
Dewayne Darryll Linnen, 44, collided head-on with a police vehicle driven by Frank Ginn, Jr. around 5:30 a.m.
Emergency crews extricated Ginn from the vehicle and transported both drivers to an area hospital.
Authorities charged Ginn with two counts of felony DUI.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
