SALUDA COUNTY, SC – A woman lost her life in a single-vehicle crash at SC 23 and Dickert Dr Sunday, according to WIS.
Mary Laverne Long, 45, was driving south on SC 23 when she strayed off the road and collided with a utility pole around 12:15 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Long dead at the scene of the accident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
