NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – According to Live 5 News, a driver died after they slammed into a tree on I-26 west of Ashley Phosphate Rd Sunday.
Gabrielle Brownlee, 29, was on eastbound I-26, two miles west of Ashley Phosphate Rd, when she strayed off the right side of the road and slammed into a tree around 10:30 a.m.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
