CHESTER COUNTY, SC – According to WLTX, four people died following a two-vehicle collision north of the Southbound I77 Rest Area Sunday.
The male driver of a Honda Civic was heading north on I-77 when he crossed into the southbound lanes of traffic and collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck head-on around 3:10 a.m.
Three of the four men in the Honda died in the crash. The pickup truck driver also died in the collision.
The current condition of the fourth man in the Honda is unknown.
Officials have released the names of the men who died in Honda. They were Daniel Ewing III, 29; Thomas Grant III, 20; and Treshawn Simmons, 29. The identity of the pickup truck driver has not been disclosed.
