SUMTER COUNTY, SC – According to WIS, officials have released the name of the woman who died on April 20 following a two-vehicle collision near Myrtle Beach Hwy and SC 527 on April 15.
A Toyota driver was on southbound SC 527 when they collided with an eastbound Ford pickup truck around 11:35 a.m. The collision forced the Toyota driver off the road and into a stop sign.
Rescue crews transported three occupants from the Toyota and five from the Ford to an area hospital. One of the Toyota passengers, Mary Karsyn Vonegidy, 27, died on April 20.
