FLORENCE, SC – Officials have released the name of the driver who fatally struck two people on the 1900 block of Pamplico Hwy on August 9.
First responders were working the scene of a collision involving two motorcycles and an SUV when Jacqueline Williams, 71, plowed through the crash site and collided with seven people at around 9 p.m.
Paramedic Sara Kinsy Weaver was treating Cedric Antonio Gregg when the driver fatally hit them.
Authorities arrested Williams on Friday on two counts of reckless homicide. She may face additional charges in the near future.
The incident is under investigation by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
