BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – According to WCSC, one person died in a head-on collision on SC 6 near Coopers Store Rd Sunday.
The driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck was heading west on SC 6 when they crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an eastbound Ford pickup truck around 3:25 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the Chevrolet driver dead at the scene of the accident and transported the Ford driver to an ara hospital.
Officials have not released the names of either driver.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
