RIDGEVILLE, SC – According to WCSC, one person died and three people were hurt in an auto accident on I-26 westbound about one mile east of Ridgeville Rd Tuesday.
A Hyundai SUV driver was heading east in the westbound lanes of traffic when they collided with a 50-year-old Chrysler sedan driver around 12:05 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the sedan driver dead at the scene of the wreck. They also transported a passenger from the sedan, the driver of the SUV, and the passenger from the SUV to an area hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
